1990 Accord Automatic Transmission locked in park?

I just bought a 1990 Accord Lx. It runs great and for the money I'm really happy. I just have two issues.

1, The shift locks in Park. There is a 'shift lock release' slot next to the shift and if i hold my spare ignition key in it I can shift. Once I'm out of park it's fine. This just started happening yesterday, How do i unlock it without having to carry around a second ignition key?

2, My second question is, how do i go about re-aligning the steering wheel? when the wheels are straight the steering wheel is at an angle (about 25-30 degrees).1990 Accord Automatic Transmission locked in park?
1. You need a new brake safety switch. The safety switch unlocks the shift mechanism when the brake pedal is applied. This is to prevent anyone from shifting into gear accidentally without holding the brake.

2. Take the vehicle in for an alignment, they can adjust the wheels with the steering wheel level.1990 Accord Automatic Transmission locked in park?
1ST QUESTION YOU NEED TO FIX THE SWTICH RELEASE LOCK MIGHT BE THE FUSE BLOW OUT OR JUST THE SWITCH DON'T WORK MUST BE REPLACE AND FOR YOUR 2ND QUESTION TAKE IT TO A GOODYEAR OR MIDAS THEY WOULD DO IT FOR YOU LESS THAN 90DLS1990 Accord Automatic Transmission locked in park?
there is a switch on the brake pedal that unlocks the shifter, it is bad or unplugged. it is the same switch that turns on the brake lights when you brake. change that or plug it in and you are good to go.
