Spare wheel on my truck?? (2)?

I drive an 2004 Isuzu Rodeo denver(UK) (Identical to the -Chevy Colorado USA not to be mistaken for the Isuzu Rodeo SUV avaliable in the US). i've got the lovely crome rear bumper and tow bar fitted by an Isuzu dealer. was all happy motoring............ till i had a flat tyre this eveing. now normally that wouldnt be a problem, but according to my owners manual, to ''lower the spare wheel'' you insert the jack leaver into a small hole under the tailgate and rotate it. However there IS NO small hole at the rear of my tail gate! just half a tone of crome bumper and a tow bar! both the RAC and i tried for an hour to get the spare wheel out but could not!The only way we could see to get the spare wheel out , was to remove the whole rear bumper assembly and tow bar! not something you want to be doing at the road side in the rain and dark.

Has my tow bar %26amp; bumper been fitted incorrectly?? or is this a **** up by the manufacturer??

This bmper came as standard manufacturer fitted for 2007 models onwards and was avaliable as an optional extra on the 04 to 07 models.|||It is thier it is right next to plate it has a black cover might even have a key type cover to lock it use ign key if not just open black cover it is their right to the right of plate|||It should just be a little round black thing next to the license plate.. i would call the dealership and tell them to get their butts out there..|||Call my Granny to come out and change your tire for you.

She can be reached at 555 - DIP - ****|||u shdu b able to lower ur spare without removing ur bumper...... but as for right now u can lay underneath ur vehicle and manually turn the lower pipe with a pair of pliers..... ive done this on a colorado that had a custom rollpan rear bumper.......sounds like mabe dealer didnt install ur bumper correctly... or ir may still have the rubber plug still in teh end of teh hole so ur not seing it.....and wud b very hard to remove plug after buper is installed... wud remove and discard it if put a non stock bumper on.... but good luck
