Happy Monday R&P, What about your legacy? (#22)?

Hi Everybody.

Well, here's the top 101 mix tape rules song of the day, . Mix tape rules simply means that I only allowed myself one song by each act. I hope you all enjoy it.

First off, here are the recent selections:

34. Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

33. Guided By Voices - Bulldog Skin

32. Oingo Boingo - On the Outside

31. Stephen Malkmus - Jenny and the Ess Dog

30. Jurassic 5 - Concrete Schoolyard

29. Jeremy Enigk - Carnival

28. Sammy - Encyclopedi-ite

27. the Velvet Underground - Who Loves the Sun

26. Apollo Sunshine - Ghost

25. the Smiths - Handsome Devil

24. John Lennon - Watching The Wheels

23. A.C. Newman - On The Table

For number 22 I went with a rap/soul song that I think is very cool. It just seems to grab onto some really nice parts of many different sounds and puts together a great picture. I hope you like it.

the Roots - The Seed V 2.0

So, what did you think? How's it goin today?

Thanks a lot for listening and commenting everybody. Sorry I didn't get this off a little earlier and I'm running out of the office for the day. I hope you enjoy the tune.|||What about my legacy... I was thinking about that the other day. I've procreated ~ took life's biggest chance and had children. lol And... if I can ever get off my rusty dusty, I've got a book (or two) in the works that I would like to leave behind when I go. That would be a great legacy... a written word work of art.

But enough. What am I doing instead??? Just playing on Answers, as usual :-D

I *LOVED* that Roots song! Totally up and dancing around the kitchen... happy to be off work/ happy to be hanging at home. 10/10. Big thumbs up.|||All right! Made it safe and sound I trust... :-)

|||funky|||I was a big fan of this album, it was a good follow up to build upon the success of Things Fall Apart and the subsequent live album. I really like this band, they have a new album coming out soon although (let's face it) they aren't as good as they used to be.|||Hi Prof,

Very good song, I'm a fan of the The Roots. I have that album Phrenology too although I personally prefer the album Things Fall Apart.

Hope you're having a good day!|||Wow, I have never actually heard that song, or even that artist.. But I like being turned on to good music!! so thank you.|||it sounds great, i m not too farmiliar with their music but i like it. thanks, ill check them out some more! :)|||this list has been d*mn good... I wanted to make sure to reiterate that.

Best Band In Late Night!|||Hey Prof, I liked it! I've only heard their album Game Theory so far, which is great. Really haven't listened to them much other than that, but I've been enjoying them on Jimmy Fallon every night.
